Privacy policy.
Contractor's Contractor is a one person firm in Springfield, Missouri that builds and runs websites, advertising and answering services for contracting businesses. This page says what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

Who we collect information about
Two groups. The contracting businesses who hire us, and the people who contact those businesses through a website, form or phone line we operate for them.
What we collect
- From our clients. Business name and address, the owner's name, phone numbers including a mobile number for alerts, email, and the account access needed to do the work we were hired for.
- From their customers. Whatever that person chooses to send: name, phone number, email, the job they need, an address for the work, and photos if they attach them. Calls to a line we operate may be recorded, and the caller is told so.
- From website visitors. Standard analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and referring source. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement on sites we run.
Mobile numbers and text messages
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with any third party.
- A client's mobile number is used only to send alerts about that client's own business, as described on our text alerts page.
- A customer's mobile number is used only to pass their enquiry to the business they contacted, and to reply within the conversation they started.
- We do not sell, rent or trade phone numbers, and we do not text anyone a promotion through these programs.

Why we hold it
To deliver the service we were hired for: answering the phone, passing enquiries to the right business, running advertising, and reporting on results. We do not build profiles for resale and we have no advertising products of our own.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the work, and only the minimum they need. Those include our phone and messaging provider, our answering service provider, our website hosting, and Google for advertising and analytics. Each is bound by its own terms. We also share a customer's enquiry with the business that customer contacted, which is the entire point of the service.
We do not sell personal information. We have never sold personal information.
How long we keep it
Client records for as long as we work together and then as long as we are required to keep business records. Call recordings, transcripts and message logs for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Stop text alerts at any time with STOP.
- Opt out of analytics with your browser settings or Google's own controls.
Children
Our services are for businesses and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. Material changes affecting clients are told to them directly.
